summer so far:

-inordinate amounts of simply orange
-and massaman curry
-addiction to the classifieds on ksl.com
-new bike (new to me) as a result of said addiction
-dismantling new bike
-dismantled bike sitting in our living room who knows when it will be mantled again
-wanting and obsessing over getting a free kitten thanks again ksl.com
-selling captain monet, faithful survivor turtle of 6 years on ksl.com (seriously, an addiction). it was time. he deserves more than i can give him.
-gilmore girls. a lot of it.
-good conversation
-loving living upstairs and not sleeping in a bunk bed
-lots of wilco
-gmail chats with amanda at work. couldn't be happier about this girl re-entering my life.
-andrew j returning from his mission
-discovering the new love of my life: thrifting. inspired by this blog
-wild hearts can't be broken
-my wonderful mother being wonderful
-starting my (unpaid) internship with the more good foundation. and by starting i mean i have my assignment, and i haven't started working on it yet.
-pretending like i can cook resulting in a huge burn on my arm and our house smelling like burnt cookies.
-not hating the rainy weather
-except that our heater doesn't work and rainy weather is cold. 56 degrees in this house. unreal.


do you ever have those days where you suddenly become really aware of a lot of things you need to improve about yourself? and instead you just sit on your couch wrapped in three quilts because it's freezing, watching a stupid show that makes you wish you were in love?
