first, we went to a synagogue. obviously.
then we went to high tea at the orangery at kensington palace as a group. we drank a whole lot of peppermint tea, ate some cucumber sandwiches, and scones. good times. good, classy, british, thanksgiving times.

our table. marin, sara, holli.

teaaaaaaaaaa

tea ghoooooost

stole this picture from rebbie, friends outside the orangery after tea.

this is where the first class people eat at the centre. i.e. not us. but it looked so fancy. thanks jordyn and marin for humanizing this picture.

our real thanksgiving table. so. much. food. so good.
after dinner i went with anna, katie, and becky to stomp. it was so much fun. just you know, rhythm and stuff. katie fell asleep. i will never get over that.
in true thanksgiving post fashion here is a short list of what i am thankful for:
-the gospel, my ward here.
-london, and my opportunity to be here.
-my parents for everything. ever.
-friends. london friends and home friends.
-gelato
-sweaters
-autumn trees
-hailee's sweats that i've adopted this week
-holli being my bunkmate and having so much patience when i always drop things. like my ipod on her head.
-skype.
-good books (i just finished tess of the d'urbervilles. thomas hardy lives up to his hype).
-theatre
-music (specifically this week: m. ward, josh ritter, wilco)
-all of the amazing people that have changed my life in london (very general but no less sincere statement).
-london parks.
-friendly people on the tube.
love you! happy thanksgiving!
and to close a little video of a spontaneous outburst at thanksgiving dinner. usa a-okay!
