possibly with dynamite

i'm a bad member of the blogging world.
i think i'm just torn on what to blog about.
i used to have a lot of feelings, and an unhealthy desire to post them on the internet. however, i don't really have feelings anymore.
so... emo posts, gone.
i could document my life. but i don't really like to write in complete sentences.
so... document updates, not all the way gone.
i could write poetry, prose, etc. but i haven't for a long time.
so...creative writing....

only 8 more weeks at my job. including this week. this job humbles me everyday. seriously, i have labeled myself and have been labeled a number of different things (the most recent being "serial dater" c/o joe. i'm not sure what that means exactly but i was kind of insulted...it doesn't sound like a good thing.) but back to the labelling thing, i've never labeled myself/been labeled as a ditz. but oh man. everyday i have those sheepish "oh." moments. either that or i'm in some frantic state when someone tries to address me and i spit out a few half words and spin my head around a few times before finally shutting up and listening. frantic and feeling dumb. that is a fairly good description of alison the medical receptionist. the people i work with have a lot of patience and are very kind.

this job has also made me start to realize that i tend to go about things the hard way a lot.

anyway besides my job the last couple of weeks have been fantastic. full of activities. amanda and i took a road trip

and this is what we looked like in the car.

we went to yellowstone. and bear world. and rexburg. and mesa falls. it was fantastic. i love nature.

and also, i love bears.

bears at bear world. seriously. i took this picture.

also as you may know the fourth of july was last week. and i love the fourth of july. it is the longest day of the year for me. festivities all day. chuck wagon breakfast at copperton, parade in west jordan, the purchase of many floatie toys (30" tubes, inflatable alligators, noodles) at the dollar store, a subsequent trip to a lake with rocky beaches and a million bugs. floating in the dredge of the lake. watching fireworks in salt lake, lighting sparklers. friends. good times. etc etc.
i love america. i love the one day of the year when everyone else loves america too.

fourth of july crew. props to amanda and alex to surviving my full day of fourth of july activities.

so there you go. that is the update of my life. in a very fragmented-sentence/thought fashion.
