i'm back! and OVERLOAD

i'm back guys. back to blogger. tumblr was a no go.

this is also my last connection to social media. i want to keep it to have a place where you can see pictures of els.. and let's be real. i can't completely disappear of the internet. do i even exist if i don't exist on the internet??? did something happen if i don't post pictures of it??

anyway, life is awesome. i have friends. i have a job. we're going HERE in ten weeks. i lead a yoga class once a week. (i said lead, not teach. come on guys. i'm not even certified. also an app i have does most of the teaching okay so maybe this is a white lie. a blog is no place for the truth.)

i'm also a beehive advisor. believe it or not, this is a dream come true for me. i love it. i don't know if the girls love me yet but i bribe them with candy.

but first thing's first. let's take care of a catch-up so we can all move on with our lives. if you're wondering if we had christmas even though i didn't blog about it; don't worry we did. it looked like this.

(sorry i can't arrange these photos in an aesthetically-pleasing way. also, some of them are phone pictures, some of them are fancy pictures. sorry not sorry.)

first there was friendsmas:

then family christmas times:

our actual christmas holiday was spent in page. all by our lonesome. i was very stressed about making it feel like christmas when it looked more like october outside and without family and friends around. it was actually really awesome and fun and romantic and perfect and bragbrag. but no. we loved it. we ate pizza of course. we dragged our mattress down to the living room and slept there. i decorated it to make it look like winter. we watched movies. ate too many treats. etc etc.

it looked like this, among other things:

nice juxtaposition of photo quality. whatever guys. i'm learning. also arranging photos on blogger is tough.

for new year's, david, maida, and the girls came and visited us. what a dream come true! i didn't take photos of the weekend. so there's no proof. but i promise it happened and it was so fun.

january was good. the highlight was spencer and weston surprising robyn and me with a trip to dunton hot springs. it's an old mining ghost town turned luxury resort. because they work at amangiri, they got hookups, and we got a huge discount for this fancy, dreamy place. i miss the mountains and sundance, so this trip hit the spot.

looked like this:

we ate A LOT, we ice skated, we soaked in the hot spring at sunrise, we read, wes and spencer snowshoed. it was the best weekend. never wanted to leave.

oh and in december, elsie rae turned 1. so here's an elsie photo dump from the last couple of months.

(from her fake birthday. yes i made that cake.)

on her actual birthday

brushing her hairs. which are pretty unruly most of the time.

loves pizza.

and finally, valentine's yesterday was beyond perfect. wes recreated our first valentine's date by hanging up pictures of sundance (where we ate), having chocolate dipped strawberries (i ruined those the first time. almost ruined them again 3 years later. so bossy.), and watching somewhere in time (i made fun of it then, i made fun of it now. this time was less mean though because we've known eachother longer than 6 weeks.). i loved it.

now you know everything.

Holy smokes that was refreshing. I love your writing. Stuff like "bragbrag" and the likes. Also I really only keep a google reader for london blogs like yours... and your revival has nearly convinced me to start writing again as well...

lovelovelovelovelove!

One day when Wes owns his own beautiful resort you he will probably need an on site physician. . . You know who to call. Glad to hear a good update!
