lately

we live in springville, and we love it. our apartment is typical and clean and air-conditioned. our ward is the friendliest i've been in in ages. it's easy to get lost in the shuffle in provo family wards. especially when you have anti-social tendencies like i do. we get invites to bbqs and friendly hellos all the time in this new neighborhood. we're way happy to be where we are. even if it is sans albus.

baby is a girl! duhhhh. we're still tossing around names. we have one we like but haven't settled on yet. the ultrasound finally made the pregnancy real for weston i think. afterwards he was immediately concerned about what i was feeding the baby. but for our celebratory lunch after the ultrasound i asked if we could go to in-n-out. sorry baby. i don't get sick anymore and pregnancy is feeling pretty good except the sleeping part. i still haven't found a comfortable way to sleep through the night, but i'll adapt.

weston is supportive but hates my pregnancy books. graphic images. we're actually both pretty grossed out by them.

sorry no belly pictures. maybe eventually. but definitely not weekly. maternity photos are something i don't really get. maybe one day i will regret my lack of sentimentality. oooor maybe you'll get lucky and i'll take some nekkid/wrapped in a sheet/sitting on the bed in my undies shots of my new form. cross your fingers guys. baby would be so lucky to have such shots of me to look at when she's older.

work is the same. i can't wait to retire from this job. i may have found a work-from-home gig that will be perfect assuming i get it. if i don't get it hopefully other stuff will come up.

all of my family is in town (all siblings and nieces and nephews) for the first time in four years, and i'm loving it.
