soo yeah.

totally pregnant! total surprise. the initial shock is gone i think, because obviously this was supposed to happen.
extremely overwhelming though.
i'm starting to get excited.
most of the time it doesn't feel real at all.
it's cool though, i've watched every episode of teen mom and teen mom 2 so i'm all over this mothering business.
(if anyone has tips/resources about pregnancy sans insurance give me a holla.)

weston has been a dreamboat. he makes me food and doesn't complain when all i want to do is watch LOST and eat otter pops (i hate kate less now. that's because they gave me anna lucia to hate. jack is also totally insufferable. john locke is still the best). watching this much LOST has started to make wes and i a little doomsdayish though. you just always assume the worst thing is going to happen at any given moment because that's always what happens on the show.


in other news...
we leave tomorrow for washington! we get to spend a few days with megan and her family on their farm, then we head to sasquatch. i have been SO excited about sasquatch and wanted to go for years. however, i'm a little apprehensive suddenly because a) i'm pregnant. i have no energy. b) my show tolerance has been pretty low lately, and music festivals seem to be everything i hate about shows rolled into one hot, sweaty, pushy, hipster-filled day.

BUT we're seeing wilco, which is a life goal. not to mention the decemberists and some trendy bands like best coast (meh), surfer blood, deerhunter, etc. it's also a lifetime goal to go to a music festival before i die and it's now or never. luckily weston and i are the same kind of show people so we will be waaaaay in the back sitting in the grass eating fruit snacks most of the day. that i can do.

i'm stoked about road-tripping, spending time with the knorpps who we've missed a ton, and seeing washington.
