if i could i'd go back and give every person a piece of gum that asked me for one.
even if it was the last piece.
nobody likes people who are stingy with their gum.
or when you ask for one and they only give you half a piece. as if they're forcing their chewing preferences on you. maybe YOU only like to chew half at a time, but i enjoy the whold piece myself, thank you very much.
