give your lovely lonesome head a rest

beautiful morning light fruit bats

oh hey. 150th post.

i'm sick. i'm sick and i haven't slept more than 3 hours each night all week. this would make me both sick and tired.

and whiny?

thank you st. patrick's day. why are there not more holidays centered around wearing a certain color. my st. patrick's day was made complete by sightings pop-up shamrock headbands, green hair paint on an older woman, puke green velour suit, and an "everybody loves an irish girl" t-shirt.

thank you mom for making me real food tonight.

thank you girl at the in 'n out drive in that asked me what curling iron i used. it was a nice roundabout way to compliment. i was truly befuddled at that exchange after you gave me my fries though.

thank you boy walking home from gold's gym with his shirt off. you're right. 58 degrees is way too hot for a cotton t-shirt. (i also saw you flex.)

thank you girl who skipped by me in the hall.

thank you kortney for bringing mini diet cokes to work (not a huge fan of diet coke per se, but i do love mini things).

thank you kevin drew and karen o for fitting each mood of the day (trying to stay awake, driving in the rain, etc)

thank you karl marx for being easier to profile the third time around.

thank you holli hale for re-enacting your pageant days for us at 2 a.m wearing a micro plush blanket of a cocoon dress.

thank you sky for being the best shade of dark grey ever this evening.

thank you the rain for not being snow.

and this is a bit pre-emptive but i'm sure in about 20 minutes i'll be very thankful to nyquil.

here's to a weekend of sleep.

And thank you, Al, for your wit.

I have also meant to ask what curling iron you use because, now that I chopped your hair as I did (which I regret, btw), your hair looks very cute and I want to look like you.
