for tonight's post i have decided to share with you, through pictures, why it is that i am absolutely obsessed with London, and the UK in general, in autumn. i've lived in utah my whole life, and autumn is usually short-lived there. the trees around my neighborhood usually turn from green to gold to black relatively quick. drives in the canyon are always pleasant, but autumn in london. that. is something beautiful.
i took these pictures during a walk through the kensington/holland park area that my friend anna and i took today. i fell in love with this area. if i am ever a multi-millionaire, you can be sure that this is where i will live. (i'll have a vacation home in ambleside. )

Just a thought from Mom. You have a real eye for this stuff----ever considered photography?
"What do you do when you're cradling a statue?"
(thanks for the manic leaf picture, p.s.)
i don't know why you like this place. i mean, it's okay, i guess.
i also echo nan's comments. you have a great eye for a photo op. you should look into making it a serious hobby--or something.
mmmhmmm. yep. uh huh. yes oh yes.
