this will be our year (took a long time to come)

so, i have tried, multiple times to construct a "best of 2007" type writing. i have struggled. mostly because i'm a bad at summarizing and i have a hard time remembering things before the month of august.
so instead i will put up a
propositions for 2008 list

ahem.

-stop drinking soda. except jones soda on special occasions. i broke this new years day when i had some sparkling cider (it's soooo good.)

-learn to budget money and save $10,000 by sept. 3. or whenever the payment for london is due. if i go, i will leave sept. 3.

-learn to take out loans (probably needed for the above goal)

-learn to be good at panhandling (also needed for the above goal)

-have "sunday drink night since we're mormons and we can't drink" at apt. 10. italian sodas, hot cocoa with peppermint ice cream, virgin margaritas, oh, the possibilities are.. most likely endless but it'll be fun for awhile. (i realize this might create conflict with the first proposition but i'm willing to give that up)

-get a hobby. i'm thinking indian bracelet making or joining christene in her screen t-shirt print expertise

-not date another pre-mi. (as much as i love relationships with timers on them... and i also would be somewhat of a pedofile if i dated a boy that young.)

-find more awkward people at byu-i

-stop mocking indiexscenexcore hipsters

-become and indiexscenexcore hipster ( i already have like, two baggy hats)

-be more positive (no, seriously)

-go to seattle

-see sufjan stevens live (i will do this before i die)

-figure out how to make my external hard drive and ipod work together

-write in a journal more than sometimes

-think about exercising more

-make that album cover collage mack and i are always talking about (as in, we are doing this the first weekend mack. no battle. your naked walls are embarrassing)

-read some books (i need to make a list. suggestions appreciated.)

-make it through french lit without wanting to kill someone or resenting french for the rest of my life

-go east and visit mi familia

-read the book of mormon in a short amount of time (i am thinking two months)
